Please help: Ron Wigg in Scotland has the following question: "Would like to know info on 55-57 axle ....particularly the 17 spline halfshaft. Did the passenger cars have thinner forged halfshafts than the trucks? Would like to know if any of the 17 spline axles had different shaft diameters? Difficult to find information over here. thanks" please post your answer here or contact Ron Wigg directly at wigg@ourweehouse.freeserve.co.UK
