I sold the '62 through Mecum when they were in KC. I've never sold a car that way so was a bit nervous. All went well. I got more than I was asking for when trying to sell traditionally. If you get a chance to attend one of their auctions do so even if you're not buying or selling. It's a real carnival atmosphere & a lot of fun. Below is a short video of the car crossing the block. The video starts with the car "on deck" while they're finishing up the car before it. My son took the video since I had to stay with the car. <VIDEO>

The problem I had around here is no one wanted a four door car. I priced it really reasonably trying to find it a good home but no one was interested. The dealer who bought it has it priced for almost double what I had it priced at. Ya never know.
