Hi! I hope for the help. I look for the image of a design of the Chevy 1 1/2 ton Truck 1935/36 (157 and 131 wheelbase) on which it is possible to see the angle of installation of the engine and the propeller shafts. Similar to the image which I place here, but about Chevy . Image

Perhaps such picture doesn't exist, but I will be glad just to information - the engine and a forward shaft are installed horizontally or not.

I can't say that I have ever seen a picture like that for the 34-36 trucks. That isn't to ay one doesn't exist just that I can't recall seeing one.

I believe the angle illustrated in your image is fairly typical.
I have a 1936 1-1/2 ton Chevy truck (low roof) which originally had a 157 inch wheelbase but has been shortened to 131 inches. If there is some other information I could share with you to help answer your question, I would be glad to do that.

Many thanks to all who have answered. I will explain the question. I have no Chevy 1935,1936 truck. But how this truck is designed - is interesting to me. I have found many images in the Internet, but they haven't given a definite answer about the angle of installation of the engine. It seemed to me that the engine can be installed horizontally. I have still a question of some sizes - look at the picture. Sizes - ?

I hope you will be able to help me. I am interested in some sizes of the truck (see the picture). You can take a roulette when you goes to garage?  I don't own the real truck, but I need to understand his design and the sizes. I have studied many data, but I still have some questions, therefore I have come to this website. Sizes - ?

A = 34.75 inches
B = 21.50 inches
C = 23.00 inches
D = 25.50 inches
These measurements came from my 1936 1.5 ton truck. They would be the same for any 1936 Chevy truck.
The only difference in a 1935 truck is that the grille height might be different.

35Mike, many thanks, you have very much helped. I have a new question. After the answers received here I have drawn such picture. Look at the picture - it looks truthfully? Perhaps there are photos of this area - interestingly as support of a shaft is attached to a frame. Or perhaps you will be able to take such photos? Once again many thanks. Support-?
