Hello I'm new to this I posted in the general form about parts for a 48 fleet master and one post recommended I re post it on here. My father and I have a 66 Buick and a 72 Chevelle so finding parts has never been hard for the chevelle. Parts where not as easy for the Buick but with help from some similar forms I found all I needed for the Buick. We picked up this 48 Fleet master and its in-need of a lot of work. I was just trying to get some places that I would be able to get parts from for this car. Thanks

First, I would check out each place Tiny gave you. Get their hard copy as there is a lot of info that is not on the web sites.

Next buy the shop manual and body manual. Maybe even a parts book that covers 1948.

After doing the above, or before for that matter, ask ANY given specific question here.

I have a 48 Fleetmaster Town Sedan. These guys are giving you good info on parts sources. I'll add that I've found ignition parts for mine at NAPA, a rebuilt carb at Autozone, and Advance Auto had a fuel pump in stock. I've also been able to get 6 volt bulbs for my car at NAPA as well.
