Horn works intermittently and after testing it appears to be a ground problem in the wire going up the steering column. Also during testing, the cover on the wheel was removed and it looks like the original parts were replaced with after market stuff. To further isolate the likely problem; does anyone have a photo showing the correct parts, in place, for the top end?
Thanks in advance.

I believe that the correct parts are shown in an exploded view in the Chevrolet parts book.

Did more digging and finally found the diagram in the '29-'57 Master Parts Catalog. Thanks, Skip! It does appear the assembly top end is incorrect, as suspected.
