I have searched the net looking for a supplier of boulevard maroon paint for my 1930 sedan. Does any one know of supplier ? Is there another color that is a close match?

Maybe I can add a bit of knowledge to this issue. I have a 1930 boulevard maroon sedan in restoration, and I have used 2 paint suppliers. Bill Hirsch supplied the V-6702 lacquer. (396 Littleton Ave., Newark, N.J.) This happened a few years ago, but he may still be able to help you out. I wanted a more chip resistant paint for the disc wheels, so I went back to a G&D reference of some years ago in which Mr. Martin of Vermont had developed a list of modern paints to replace the antique colors. He recommended Victorian Brown. I went to a Sherwin Williams automotive paint store, and they came up with their number J5-727-G. It is a very good match to the Bill Hirsch Boulevard Maroon. I hope that this helps you and a few others.
