Yes I know, this is an off the wall, off topic. Has anyone tried using ethanol enriched gasoline in your Coleman gasoline lantern or Coleman gasoline stove?

I know they are made to use Coleman fuel, which is the same as what we used to call white gas. I used unleaded gasoline without any problems before any ethanol was ever added to the unleaded regular gasoline.

Chipper do you remember the joke we heard from the cajun cook on one of our tours several years ago? It was about a skydiver who's chute failed to open and a cajun cooking on a Coleman stove in a park?

An interesting topic Mr Mack however perhaps a PM to Chipper regarding the "joke" would have been a better choice than posting here.

Yes, I remember.

I would not suggest using ethanol containing gasoline in a Coleman lantern unless you find it is okay on a Coleman owned site. Coleman and substitutes are available from numerous places.
