Can body parts from Thriftmasters be used on Loadmasters. Specifically the fenders and hood.

BACKSTORY: I'd like to be able to play with my `48 Loadmaster but it's still in the ex-wife's possession. So, while I wait for the day when I can bring her home to me, (the Loadmaster, that is) I ponder the build in my head. I recently bought a model of a 1950 Thriftmaster pick-up and have been converting into a 1 1/2 ton Loadmaster. Of course, finding the wheel clearance is a bit tight, I pose this question to the many proud owners out there. I sifted through the FAQs without much luck and haven't found much differentiation in the parts catalogs online.
