I am trying to find out if anyone knows where I can get the yellow colored paint for my 47 Oil Bath filter Housing. I understand that the corect colors were a yellow tank and black top. And also where did they store the jack properly?
Thanks for any info

No one makes the yellow paint for the oil filter but you can find a nice yellow at a hardware store. It is a light very yellow color.

There was no "official" place to store the jack and tools. They all came packed in a box from the factory and just placed in the trunk. 1949 was the first to have aa place to hold the jack down with a spring.
