I believe the bonnet prop for 29 Chevs onwards sold by the filling station, would fit a 28.

Can anyone confirm this, and if I wanted to raise both sides at once I would require 2?

Some say "Street is neat". I prefer "1928 is great"

I have documented my 45 years with a 1928 Chev Tourer, from 1973 to 2018, and regulary add other items that I hope are of interest to others. Your comments are most welcome. The story of the Red Chev can be viewed at

I am not sure it would work on a 28 as I have not tried it. However, it would only work on the very late models that have the "V" brace and not the single center rod.
