Has anyone purchased one of these? Do they fit being repops?
I just sent mine to the chrome shop for an estimate and if I fall off the chair when I get it I might look at the reproduction.

Unfortunately its a precious piece the grille surround and the better the qulaity of the part your giving your plater the less the end cost. 90% of plating cost is preparation of the surface. The more its got to be prepped more the final cost.$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ Its the main and focal point on your chevy and its going to cost.

Be thankfull you do not have a 34 ford and need to have that done, could cost $2G plus for quality chrome.

My understanding is that the repo piece is water jet or laser or flame cut.

Their grille surround (trim band) looks pretty good. I wonder if they are FS's supplier?

I would think so , as Harris is the only one making the correct grille mesh. I doubt anybody else would be making the grille surround trim ring.
The original guy who started making the mesh back in 1972 in pennsylvannia ( i got mine there ) stopped 10 years later. Harris is better because the rear wing shapped brace is stainless , whereas the other guys was steel and prone to rust.
