OP alvinb301 Shade Tree Mechanic Joined: Nov 2011 Posts: 81 Beltsville Md.	I need to remove the drivers side wiper transmisson on my 1940 tudor. A couple fo questions. [1] Does the defroster duck have to be removed to access it? [2] Does the link get disconnected from the wiper motor or from the transmission? Seems to be very difficult to get to any of these parts. HELP

On mine the linkage arm disconnects from the transmission. There's a spring clip that you remove that releases the arm. I don't need to remove the defroster duct to access the transmission fastener.
