OK guys.. and gals.. I went to look at a NICE set of 1940 fenders today. Unfortunately for me, they AREN'T 1940. Can someone help me identify them? the look close to 1940 rear fenders, except they are 2 piece. the REAL part of the fender has a seam and the rear mounts look different. I told the guy selling them I would try to figure out what they were for him..

Any ideas?

Thanks.

The 1939 trunkless car and sedan delivery fenders had a little filler piece added - on top - to the rear. Teh filler could be removed and then they will work on a 1939 trunk sedan or coupe.
