Ed1938 asked me to post this for him. It's a picture of the Norwood plant as it was in 1923.

Our 31 was built in Norwood. Would you believe that shortly after we purchased our 31 in 1960 I met a fellow employee at NCR that said he worked at Norwood in 1931 and his job was folding the metal down around the rumble seat opening. Could he have worked on our car? I'll never know but it is possible.

Interesting picture. My 24 was built in Norwood not long after that photo. Thanks for posting.

I have a Norwood built Chevrolet. Guess the plant was a bit different when it was built in September of 1943.

Chipper.....The Norwood Chevy plant was about 3 or four miles from my house. I never was inside the plant but I applied for a job there many years ago. The building is gone now and it made a big impact on the small city of Norwood when GM closed it, in the 60's I think. Almost the entire population of Norwood worked there or was retired from there.
Norwood is in the suburbs of Cincinnati and is it's own city....I knew allot of people who worked there and I used to drive by it quite often. There was a guy in a cowboy suit who used to hang out by the main gate, play the guitar and sing for tip,s......ED

I was only wrong one time in my life so far. But that time I was right, and only thought I was wrong....ED
