Being in Johnson City, TN you are very close to Bristol Motor Speedway. It would be a shame not to go there and run a few laps around the track. I did it last summer in our '74 Nova and had a blast at 70MPH.

The club has already made those plans. Club members will have the opportunity of taking six laps on Friday morning.

When I was there they split us into two groups. The slow group got five laps. The fast group got ten laps and we were supposed to keep up with the pace car. That is why the 70 MPH.

It hard to keep a Monte Carlo under 70 m.p.h.

If you have stock tires and suspension I don't think you'll want to go much more than 70 around BMS. My tires were talking to me with our Nova.
