My gas tank looks pretty bad inside. I drained it this weekend but have not dropped it yet. I'm sure the top will be rusted thru. I was looking on-line and it seems a lot of places carry a 2 1/2" deeper tank but not a exact reproduction. Does someone provide the stock tank without a special build?

Thanks

I see your someplace in Florida. I had my '31 tank reconditioned by a company called Renu USA of Orlando. The guy I used was JBL Antique Auto whom had the closest RENU franchise near me. He is located in Apopka, Fl. Phone # 407-464-1929........give him a call.Good Luck

If your gas tank is pretty bad inside as you indicated and your tank is to the point that you need to use a liquid tank liner, you are better off getting another gas tank.

Keep an eye on ebay, they pop up there periodically. I got a really nice 31 tank for my 30 coach.

Thanks for the info on RENU. I have found a couple of places to sent it to if it is repairable. I will find out this weekend. I tried the liquid tank liner on a corvette that I restored and was not happy with the results. That tank was easy to replace.

Just an update on my rusty tank. When I removed the tank it turned out to be in a lot better condition than I originally thought. I have dropped it off to be boiled out. Will see how clean it comes out.
