I need to remove surface rust from my 1956 wagon. Is there any product out there that I can remove rust and keep the paint? It is original paint and very thin. I don't want to let it rust more, but don't know what to use. Thanks for any advise. Patty.

Patty, I don't know the answer to your question but I'll be watching to see what solutions are posted. I would invite you to join VCCA and get alll kinds of help. I'd like to see your wagon. They are getting to be more popular.

Hey thanks. I will post a picture when I get a little better understanding on how to do it. I can hardly wait til I get my check so I can get insurance on it and actually drive it. Hope summer lasts a couple more months. Patty

I made a mistake and got my tours mixed up. The HAPPY DAYS TOUR for 1955-1975 Chevys is next May. It is the Early Six Cylinder Tour for 1929 -1954 Chevys that is in September. Sorry for the confusion.
