I just got the dreared call from the shop. He took my tank out of the boiler and it leaks
badly all over. Can this be fixed with a product like POR15 tank sealer? It did not leak (I think)
before he put it in his vat. He said it is not repairable.

The best, and most permenant thing to do is to have your gas tank sent out and have it galvanized. There are several companies around the nation that offer this service for antique cars, and it is a permanent cure. laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh
