Mike Sounds like some of the "41 owners" are interested in "'41 Chapter" and even an all '41 Tour. Sounds good to me. As you know you can count on me for any help I can give. Keep us posted on your progress. JIM yipp

You could start a Registry for 1941 Chevrolet's.

I have a vision of about 75 bone-stock 1941 Chevys, all in a row, coming down a 2 lane road at 40 mph.............

Too bad that the VCCA dosen't have a 1941 technical advisor at this time.

At one time the 1941 was the second most popular year for members to have.Would be at least a dozen at the meets, etc. Now your lucky to see three or four.

Thanks Guys, Great comments and I love folks that are supportive of ideas.

And Ohh-Kay, once I settle down to my new schedule {about a week} I will dev'l a VCCA 1941 Chevrolet Chapter/Group.

Yes, Chevgene we could use a '41 tech. advisor {hint-hint} Kind of funny we don't have one {?}.

But I will say between Chevgene, Big Bob, Billy Boy, the 1940's & 1948 tech guys all my questions have been answered.

So soon Boys, soon, 41's Will Ride Again !!!!!! cool cool

I would like that alot
41s rule, I really enjoy mine, I rewired the headlights this weekend and theyre so much better
wish when I restored mine I had replaced the wiring harness, now I ve HAD to replace most of it so more difficult to do it with good paint etc. When you guys finish yours and if youre like me you never will, the feeling of driving it is indescribile and the looks are great too.

sure is. I need now to remove my back seats and redo the water drains from the rear side glasses,
and seal and soundproof the metal.

Mike. The '41's are surfacing again. You said to check "General Discussion" for calling all '41 owners. I fail to find anything like that in that thread. Maybe I can't find it. I've been told I can't find anything so maybe she is right. Anyway I'm looking forward to some '41 activity. JIM

Hi Mike I tried a few times to check out the Yahoo site but no luck, I am going to post a photo of my 41 two door town sedan as I just put the body back on the completed chassis and am getting ready for the wiring and the rest of the restoration. will be asking many questions about putting my mistress back together { not hard just I find some people have better ways to do things} :vcca:

A '41' Tour would be fabulous, Great idea...Now all we have to do is plan the logistics.

But it sounds great to me... Heck we could shoot a small {amateur} film of the event.

I'll out on my thinking cap, and pls., ALL you 41 folks do the same. We'll meet back here from time to time and see what great ideas we have come up with.

Took my 41 Coupe for a ride on Saturday, lots of thumps up and a fun drive.

Heck maybe we can arrange to drive our 41's on stage at Jay Leno's show. Now that would be cool. And we could contact a bunch of Chevrolet dealers along our route, you know, stop by, park the cars for awhile, give them some free advertising and enjoy our day as well. Could also arrenge for some photo ops, with local T.V. News Stations, news papers...heck, we'd be stars!!!!

Ok, get your ideas down for a 41 Tour Extravaganza.

Michael41
