This has been a father son project. Goal has not been to make a perfect restoration but to build a car that I and my two sons can have fun with. Attached are some photos of the car from when we found it to now. As of last summer we finally got it on the road. Currently we are in the stages where we are sorting out the things that go wrong when driving and still need the rest of the interior.

I have found that having an old car is a constant project that is never done. I think that is a good thing. Keeps me learning new things. Having two from different eras is just a form of higher education.

You and the boys have been busy and achieved more in 12 months than I have achieved in 40 years.

The pictures of it in red are how we received it. Had it started a few weeks after that, drove it down the road and back to get a base line of what needed to be done and went from there. Last year was year 4 when we were finally able to drive it. We are on 5 and we thought this would be the year we got to the interior. Instead we are yet to get it out due to issues we found getting it out and changing the carb.

I was surprised though of the two cars they are more attached to the 87 Monte Carlo. My youngest does not remember it ever not being there and my oldest just barely remembers getting it. They were 4 and 6 when I brought that home. Last year was year 4 when we were finally able to drive it.
