There has been discussion on our "Parts Wanted Forum" about the need for a source of flywheel locking plates. Has anyone found a source? This seems to be a consumable item after a couple of reuses? I checked with a local steel fabricating company and they could supply 100 for 50 cents a piece. They would be the same gauge metal as the ones I took off of my flywheels but would have the holes punched rather than drilled. Punching the holes causes distortion in the metal so each plate would have to be reflattened after each punched hole, and their would be a slight ridge of excess metal on the bottom of each punched hole. This excessive could be ignored or even sanded clean. It would be less than 1/16" of a lip that would easily flatten on tightening the bolts. I think it would be reasonable to sell a set of three for $5.00 which would cover shipping/postage. What is the feeling of our members? Is this something to pursue or let each of us just make our own up? Thanks, Mike
P.S. I will post a picture if there is interest? _________________________

Yes, I think most of us would like to have a set or two on hand. I think that one pattern would fit many of the engine year models.
A picture would be a good idea.
