It was mentioned to me that I should be showing pics of you Chat guys and your rides that I met along the way to Tahoe This year. It's a little out of order for my journal now, so I thought I'd throw it into it's own thread.

My own pictures are fairly car heavy, and less so of people. I seem to wait until folks move out of the way to get a good shot of the car! Then I wonder where all the people went when I'm reviewing the pics afterwards! Dale James has some great photos of people and cars, so I'm going to rob his Smugmug account blind to show you guys off to each other!

Smile for the camera!

First off is Jay & Louise Nicholson from California, with their beautiful 1941 Convertible. Jay goes by 41carguy here on Chat...

Next we have Dean Meltz from California , or Rustoholic as we all know him. Dean brought "Justin", his trusty 1928 AB Canopy Delivery as well as his 2 cylinder Frankenchevy display engine...

This is Bruce Deford from Washington State. We know him as "32confederate" here on Chat. He brought his 1932 Landau Phaeton...

Here's the Cufr family, and their 1936 from Ohio. That's Dave our meet Chairman driving, or "36dlc" here on Chat...

In the passenger seat is his son Chris, with his wife Debbie in the back. Chris goes by "cufrcp" here on Chat...

Some Chat members cars that I caught with out the owners...

Tuscan Joe, or "Jiaccino" as we know him here, is Joe Iaccino from AZ. I didn't get a photo of Joe, which is just as well since his teeth were full of bugs and his hair was messy after driving his '33 Standard coupe with no windshield or roof canvas! There is always disappointment for people that don't get their cars finished in time for the shows, but it turns out to be an even better experience for all of us than you would expect. Joe's car was constantly surrounded on show day as people were checking out his still visible wood framing. Can't offer that insight with a complete car! Thanks for displaying it, Joe. You're doing amazing work!

Andy Jurski's 1970 Monte Carlo... Andy is from Ohio and goes by 63novaandy here on Chat...

Here's a video I shot of Dan O'day's 1914 H4 roadster starting up, and his oil flow gauge... Be sure to turn the sound on.

Dale James is an elusive fellow to capture on camera, as he is usually hiding behind one himself! That's the only picture that Jane captured of him, with me pointing at his head! ab_buff hails from California, and drives this beautiful 1933 sedan...

Thanks Brewster. Finished or not I still had a great time. The bugs weren't too bad. Some had a different taste than the ones from Tucson :)
It was great to see & visit with everybody. Just don't call it a Mercury...ugh!!!!

Joe
