Hey guys, I'm looking for a good shop or individual in the Chicago area (I'm in the western suburbs, but anywhere in the Chicago area is fine) to do some mechanical work on my 1931 sport roadster. Need a new wiring harness installed and a few other things to get the motor running and the car driveable. Any recommendations?

Since you're out west, you may want to give Old Coach Works a jingle. They're a full-service restoration shop, so they should be able to address your needs. Our region toured the place a long time ago, so they've been there for many years. That's always a good sign.

Hope this helps, good luck on your '31!

I went to Old Coach Works over 10 years ago for carb and clutch work when I had a Dodge sedan. End result cost 2x the estimate and 3x the timeframe.
