Ahh, jeez, no - far from looking for an apology, I was considering that new members (or yet-to-be members) might interpret it on face value, so I thought it was appropriate just to provide some context.
Obviously it can be quite intimidating, at face value, to drive in your project car with the faded paint and the droopy interior and park it next to a show quality car. I didn't think you were really putting down that kind of situation. Your follow up filled in what you meant and explained it better. Chipper's thoughts helped provide some balance on the subject, too.
However, I
will go along with anyone who questions the sanity of someone who
drags in some rusted up, blown out POS (and I don't mean "Project On Show"
) into the car corral and slaps a $3895 price tag on it.
