does anybody know how to replace the ignition wire on a 37" master deluxe? the insulation is frayed inside the metal tubing causing the engine to stall. I have taken the ignition apart but really can't figure out how to get the wires out of the back of the switch (afraid to brake something.)anybody got any ideas let me know.
THANKS

BUDZO I bet old JYD, aka Skip Geear, knows! You might even consider shipping it out to IGGLE PINT, Are-we-gone for complete restoration.
I did mine, You have to very carfully bend the tabs out on back of switch and take it apart that way. You can't get at the wire be removing the cylinder it's the only way. Was pretty easy bend just enough to get it apart. Also do a search there is a thread or two on this subject.
GOOD LUCK

HEY MRMACK & TIMS37,
Thanks for the input. I think I'll go out and crawl up under that dash and pull the ignition again to see if I can fix it without breaking it.
THANKS AGAIN
BUDZO
The hardest part is getting the black bakolite piece out of the switch there is 3 little indents thet hold it from comeing out of the switch have to carfully pry those out from the inside of switch and the wire is attached to the back side of that..Good luck and be carfull!
