Can anyone tell me where to find a resistor wire between the "Headlight" terminal and the "Dim" terminal on the back of the ignition/lighting switch?

Hi, I am sure you could purchase the correct resistor to use as the headlight dim connection. I have been driving 4-cylinders in excess of 25 years and other than when judging I have never used the dim position. What it really needs is another position for bright. HA!

Thanks Ray for responding. I agree the headlights could use more power. I also agree that I need the Dim to work properly if I want my car judged. That is why I need more info. My local auto electrician says GM used to provide resistors, but he did not know where they can be bought. So, I still need to know what am I looking for in the way of a resistor, and more importantly where can I purchase one.

Seems like my ford had it on the back of the switch.
