Has anyone had any experience with Moyer Fuel Tank Renu of Greensburg PA?

No, but you can do it yourself for a good bit less. I put a power wash nozzle in my tank, several times till the water comes out clean. Air dry and use Hirsh tank sealer. You shouldn't have any problem and savings is about 300.

I just finished my tank on a 29 using the Hirsch Kit for the fuel tank just put it back in today so we will see. Had problem getting tank cleaned used steel balls and also chains found out that most of the brown stuff inside was not rust but old gas. Check www.hirchauto.com

a 5 mile trip puts 1/8" of rust in the bottom of the sediment bowl. the tank had been coated with the Hirsch stuff many years ago. not sure how a recoat would do. I've got a lead on an "excellent" tank for less than the cost of the Moyer repair.

perhaps these tanks would be something worth reproducing
