Can anyone tell me where and how the roof bow trim stick mounts? (page 34 0f the Fisher Serv. book - closed body 29- 32) my new one has screw holes and recessed holes but not sure which side goes where. My old one was missing.

I do not know about the wood coachworks of these vehicles. That being said, allow me this suggestion.

4. index- Wood Parts page 249
5. look for your vehicle's Job Number
6. try to identify the part that you are speaking of, to learn what it is named and possibly it's part number.
If you are successful, you might learn from the diagram were the part is located and possibly it's place in the assembly order.
Screw holes and recessed holes suggest that fasteners do not protrude above the wood.
I think that it is important to know the exact name of a part, especially when someone has no clue as to what these pieces and parts are called.
You may try calling someone like 'Autowood Restoration' for their advice. Good Luck.
I have spent some time trying to figure out exactly which part is the "roof bow trim stick". I think I understand but since I don't have an example to see my self it is difficult envision. The text on page 32 of the copy I have on illustration 62 (on page 35) as "A" and held in place by bolts "B" & "C". "Its function is to hold the headlining which is tacked to the face of it".

The photo appears to be oriented correctly as to what faces up and what faces down. What appears to be in question is which end is the left and which end is the right? The two bottom notches near the middle appear to be of different sizes. That may give you a clue if you can find out what those notches are for.
From the 32 Fisher Body supplement maybe this will help/apply.
"The windshield header panel is anchored to the roof front rail with several wood screws , the heads of which are hidden by being covered by the front bow trim strip.
This roof front bow trim strip to which the headlining is tacked is also screwed to the roof front rail with ten or twelve wood screws."

I think you likely clarified the situation. The front of the top on a 1932 is different. The illustration and text for the 1929-31 will give a general location and description but not the detail required for a 1932.

Glad to help. If someone has an original supplement perhaps the illustration may be better than the one in my supplement copy which was very poor and not worth posting. There are probably other changes so it might be good to get a supplement copy.
Yes, the 32’ and 31’ are quite different in the way they mount. The 31’ has two flat fillister head bolts that hold it to the upper corner irons. The 29’&30’ are similar to the 31’. I haven’t done a 32’ closed car so I’m not familiar with the front tack bow but the picture the op shows it’s quite different from the earlier years.
