As most of here know my fenders are Fawn Brown and not black. I have both the left and right tail light brackets and both are painted black. I am thinking I should probably paint them to match. Is it normal practice to paint the light brackets the colors of the fenders on other cars? Just curious.

The tail light brackets were originally painted black. However, since your car is painted the incorrect colors, you can paint the tail light brackets any color that you prefer.

I think black would look wrong. Every car I have seen (all makes and models)has such brackets painted fender color. My 2$c's worth.

Fender color. Sure would look out of place if black.

Thanks guys, going with the fender color, fawn brown. Already dropped them off for a wet sanding of 600 then paint.
