A crazy question, I have built a '28 speedster and I was trying to trick it out a bit. Has anyone heard of a dual carburetor setup for a 4 cylinder? I am not looking for performance as much as making it look different (but i do want it to work and be able to drive it).

I have a picture of one that i found on the internet but no clues if it works.

The internet picture has it spaced out and they mounted a second carburetor (equally spaced) to the existing manifold or could also fabricate one (straight pipe coming off of the head with a carb at each end with a crossover pipe between the two pipes).

Oh, final comment - saying WHY?, Waste of time!, Are you Crazy? are all acceptable replies. I just wanted to do "one up" the Fords out here that have all of their high end after market stuff on their speedsters.

What would as poor man do out of his barn/garage?

what is a "Raxko" carb? I made a dual one barrel set up on a modified Fenton intake. My 207 engine does not have any aftermarket intakes that bolt on. So I took a later year 216 and did some extensive stuff to make it fit. Think about dual exhaust to go with it.
Some hate it. Most love it. Who cares. The rewarding victory is all I care about.

Qman made a typo. He's talking about an RAKXO Carter carb that is on the 1928 4 cylinder engines. Below is a pic of one.

Cheers, Dean

I hate to be the one to tell you guys, your carbs are upside down!!! Or maybe it's mine that are upside down. Thanks I found some stuff online. Good info and nice car. Very cool radiator shroud. I've never seen one.
