I have a question??? Is the 1948 Chev truck parking brake assembly different or the same as a 1952?? wondering,wondering chevy :confused: :eek: laugh cool :rolleyes:

According to he parts book there are a few individual parts that are not the same but I believe it would be safe to say that if you use the complete unit it should work.I am refering to the foot operated parking brake in the smaller trucks.

Chevy nut is correct. There were differences between the 47-50 & 51-55 1st parkbrake set ups & the parts really dont mix & match. If you use the complete set up from either they will work. This does not apply to the floor lever parking brake assembly.
