I recently had a bad experience with a chrome plater in Philadelphia. Franklin Plating had come well recommended by others who had good experience, but my personal experience was sour. I dropped off parts with them for my '35 Master and was told it would take about 8 weeks. In all, it took 4.5 months, and when I picked up the parts I found they had buffed out some details lines on the door handles. They offered to 'fix' it but I declined, not wanting to drag out the process longer. This led to a few words being exchanged which I didn't appreciate. Maybe others have had good success with Franklin, but I would not recommend them based on my limited experience with them.
