I have a 1937 master deluxe with 216 cuin with engine casting # of 838101 and I9944I stamped onpad behind fuel pump would appreciate any help.

838101 is a 1937 engine.The 1937 was the only 216 with the engine number behind the fuel pump.The 1938 and up have it behind the distributor.The 1937 engine nubers ran from 1 thru 1187821.
