This same information, plus much more, is also available under TECH TALK. You should review that area frequently, as it is always being updated, and it does not light the bulb.

Maybe in your Tech Talk You could put Kepi's work in #1 slot instead of #25 and make it in BOLD .

Thanks for doing that helpfull edit! dance

thanks for the kind words, guys...I like doing this for our "community"...and keep referring good vendors in whichever forum you like, or as a new topic in this forum, and it will ultimately be linked to the "vendor index"...

and don't forget to post cautionaries, as well, if you want to help keep fellow chevy nuts from associating with problem vendors...

Hi KC_Wood,

Welcome to Chevy Chat. Your contact information has already been added to the Tech Topics and shortly it will be linked to a master list of vendors.

We are constantly looking for vendors that provide services for Chevrolet owners.

TO ALL:

It is suggested you check Tech Topics on a regular basis for new entries. A new listing does not light the bulb so you must check on a regular basis.

I came across a new vender for obsolete engine and chassis parts. His name is Lester J Harris
2763 east Valley Rd.
Minden, NV 89423
PH 775-267-2559
Fax 775-267-2241
I bought a set of NOS rings from him. I got the rings in the mail before he even got my check. He is an old timer and knows Chevys. Hope this may help some one looking for that special part.

I had an opportunity to walk through Lester's warehouse recently. It is very heavy in mechanical parts and Lester has the necessary books to identify his stock.

If you are looking for trim, fenders, and that type merchandise you are probably out of luck.

I came across another vender that I would recommend for many types of auto parts. They do not sell fenders or trim but everything under the hood and drive train. I bought a set of intake and exhaust valves from them. Just about half the price of some other catalogs that I looked in. They are Northwestern Auto Supply Inc.
1101 S. Division, Grand Rapids, Mi.49507
PH: 616-241-5611 or 1-800-704-1078. They also have a good web site at WWW.northwesternautosupply.com

Also for you guys out there that like to put period type things in your cars for display. I met a guy that has over 5000 maps from the 30's to the 70's. His father collected them. The two brothers are now trying to sell them since their father passed away. They have them from all over the US. If anyone is interested you can email them at:leesroadmaps@aol.com. Prices seem fare, I bought a 1933 strip map for $8.00.
Good luck in finding all those parts.

uh-oh...I hope the wheels are not coming loose.. laugh

it's been brought to my attention that all of the hyper-links have evaporated from the vendor list...so, for the moment, you cannot easily access the past postings related to your vendor or topic, or click to go directly to a vendor's website...

where's bill barker when you need him?..

(just spent the past two hours getting some links restored...I'll maybe have everything working tomorrow)
