I just had some carb work done by Larry Isgro, has ad's in the AACA Mag, A-1, less than a 24 hour turnaround. His shop was a throw-back, shelves stacked with old cores, I mean real old! Good guy, good service give him a call (516)897-0401. I know he will be at Hershey in the White Field, I think he has a space with Artie Gould, fuel pumps/water pumps.

John, do you mean "real old" like the Carter carbs for the 4 cylinders of the 20's?

I don't know about the teens and twenties, but there was stuff on the shelf like 36 olds, 32 LaSalle, I have a feeling that he would be able to help you out.

For real early Chevy carbs I suggest looking in the Services Offered by Members section of the VCCA. There are two members listed who work on the early carbs.

Yeah! Chip and I bet they do good work, probably even run test them on a vehicle.

We sometimes don't realize what a resource we have here.

However, one of them has a 32 Chevrolet for a planter outside of his house and a seldom seen photos of him shows him drowling over a tricycle he found in a dump!

The other guy sometimes scares people out of a couple of years growth when he blows on a bugle! and also tells folks that ATF is as good as MMO!

I couldn't think of anyone I would trust more with my carb repair than either Chip or Junkyard dog!!!

Arf!Arf! & Bow! Wow!

wink wink :p yipp luv2 dance
