Just wondering - I notice the numero uno suggestion to questions of which vendor to use is The Flling Station, but I never see anyone mentioning Chevysofthe40's - any particular reason? I've dealt with them a lot in years past, but not in the last couple of years. Has their reputation gone downhill?

Donald is correct......Chevs of the 40's is an excellent place to buy parts for your old Chevy. However, if you are looking for parts for the late 1920's and the early 1930's Chevrolets the Filling Station has a better supply of those items. laugh laugh laugh laugh

Chef-Chevy: I remember talking with Ida, many years ago, ay Chevysofthe40's. I recall that she was extremely knowledgable and helpful as all get out. What's the name & nature of her business now and how would I get in touch with her.

Thanks for that info, I had never heard of her. Is she all years or only certain years?

Maybe we should put her and other good vendors on a "good vendor" list somewhere, with contact names, addresses, phone #, email addresses.? laugh
