Gene, I don't think I could get away with that...., maybe just a quiet summer's night excursion!
When you talk about the pecking order, I am the one getting pecked.

I really didn't want the OOps to be the last posting here.

Mr. Mack,
I have just about completed the total restoriation of our 1926 4-door Landau which we plan to trailer out to Grand Junction in july. To date the longest trip we have driven it was from home to the upholstery shop and return. We plan to take a couple of shake down short trip before going to Colorado. We hope to show/display our "treasure" and take at least one tour. When we reister we need to advise which tour we plan to take. Please advise me which you recommend since we have only two wheel brakes.
Thanks, John Finch VCCA 33839 e-mail Linjohfin@aol.com

John, I am sure you will enjoy either tour on Thursday, Verlyn Husman has driven all the tours in his four cylinder Chevrolet and he believes that the Vega Lake tour is more suited to the really old cars (two wheel brakes).

There may be more information on each tour in the G&D before you have to make the hard choice by May 26.

It is up to the indivigual driver as to which tour is for you. Neither, of the tours will be really dull, or what I call dangerous, there are good roads, with plenty of pullouts to observe the scenery or take a rest, on the Grand Mesa tour,

I hope to do both routes while at Grand Junction, but do the other on another morning.

I would much rather tackle either route than ride the rollercoaster at Six Flags or drive across the suspension bridge over Royal Gorge, or drive up out of Palo Duro Canyon in a loaded down four cylinder.....as far as I am concerned.

I hope that everyone will check out the links posted on the very first posting I made here, This is as much information as I could gather for the tours at Grand Junction....

I have registered but didn't register for any tours. I am not bringing a car to go on the tour but put on my applicaiton that I would be interested in going along with my S-10 pick up as a supposrt vehicle.
Can I sign up when I get to GJ and find otu where I'm needed?
Thanks for all yoru hard work.

Cartunman, come by the touring desk, close to where you pickup your registration packet in Grand Junction, and we will see what can be done.
I don't think that there will be a problem.
