60impala, Cindy and I are going. This will be our 1st VCCA national meet. We made a 1 night (Saturday) reservation at the Days Inn-Catonsville. DONT STAY AT THE CATONSVILLE MOTELS!!!!! BEEN THERE DONE THAT NEVER AGAIN!!!!! STAY AT THE HOLIDAY INN 10 MILES AWAY. THE DOORS WERE SLAMMIN EVERY FOUR HOURS AT THAT DAYS INN!!!

John, I appreciate the advice...but I'm :confused: confused. If a few  jerks were slamming the doors at the Days Inn, what prevents jerks from slamming doors at the Holiday Inn? John

I am sorry, you did not understand what I was trying to stay. At the Days Inn I felt that most of the patrons were staying on an hourly rate, not for the night. The area it was in sort seemed like it promoted this type of activity :eek: . Holiday Inns have a tendancy not to have this going on. Plus I really did not feel to comfortable leaving my car there for the night, due to all of the traffic in and out of the place. I hope you don't have the same problem, this was two or three years ago

Hey guys, I was not bashing the Catonsville Meet, just the motels around it! This meet is a great meet, and has pleanty of tradition! My hat goes off to Charlie Lewis and all of the work he has done over the years. This can be a problem when any of us recommend a local motel, we really do not know what is going on.
