Hello,

Upon fixing a bad connection on my oil distributor, I noticed two places with a hex bolt – one on front, the other larger on the right hand side. What would these be for? Wondering if theres a screen or something to clean out within these, or something else?

This is on my 1933 1.5 ton truck, 207 original motor.

Thank you.

Hi ABowlin

There is no screen to clean.
The smaller of the two is the head of the bolt that holds the valve body on the block.
The larger is the actual spring and valve unit which threads into valve body.
The spring and valve should NOT be fiddled with in any way in an attempt to change the oil pressure.

Hope that helps. 🙂

Thanks @stoveblt. It was the first time I had noticed them, I'll be sure to leave them alone.
