i have a '49 fleetline deluxe four door sedan and need to repaint the interior. it was painted black by someone else in the past with a brush. while sanding the paint i found what looks to be a gold color on the top of the dash and a brown every where else. does anyone know the correct colors and where each color should be? thanks walt

The following are brown-lower dash, steering column and shift lever and center of steering wheel. The following is gold.Outter part of steering weel.top of dash, all window mouldings and lower portions of arm rests.

There are no paint formulas etc. available as far as I know.Best would be to take samples to AUTO PAINT store and have matched.Use like inside of glove box door-lower arm rest covers etc. for sample.Gold (a tan gold) was very metalic-brown regular metalic.
