before vacation I got the wires (positive and negative) hooked up backwards on the batt. trying to get a C.D. out. Now I can not get the engine to turn over fast enough to get it started. I have had the batt. checked, exchanged starter and sol. , put a new postive batt. cable on and have replaced the wires that goes from the batt. to the switch and the wire from the batt. to the alter. does anyone have a clue of what I should check next. Thanks for your help, may God bless the U.S.A.

If you reversed the batt cables with an alt you will need to have the alt checked as it will damage it..Check the ground,,then load test the batt or try a different batt..How long was it hooked backwards...doc
