Trivial Pursuit... What year were seal beams introduced, more especially, fog light seal beams? I have an old pair of fog lights that are seal beam yellow. My '39, of course, has the light bulb and reflector. I want to see if they're within the '39 era time frame so I can feel okay about using them on my restoration.
Best wishes,
Chuck

Sealed beams were first available in 1940-for head lights. All cars converted to them except d\for a few low production odd balls.

Fog lights and spot lights took a few years longer.Fog lamps were made and sold by many different companys.Just after WWII the sealed beam type became popular.
