I recently purchased a 1925 Chevrolet Model K. It is in great shape. Estate sale. Unfortunately the estate can’t find the ignition key. Any suggestions on getting the ignition out so I can get a key made?

I don't know how it translates to a 25 but on my 38 there's a tiny hole in the front of the tumbler. You turn the key to the on position then stick a paper clip end in the hole and push, you'll feel spring tension against the clip, then turn another 1/4 turn and pull it out.

Not at all like the 38.
You can purchase a key from Gary Wallace.
I would suspect the ignition is defective. If you need help I can restore your switch, in fact I can restore any item on the dash except the speedometer.

Approximately $275 each. Each switch has it's own problems and a firm price can't be determined until it is on the bench.
