I have a socket question, but this one is much less controversial than ol' Donald's crankshaft socket issue.
This one is on the male socket for a '32 headlight. I did a swap with someone for the headlights, and I got a pair of male sockets (that insert into the bucket) to recondition.
Can the ceramic washer and the terminating wires inside the socket be readily removed and reinserted? I see a tiny insert cut into the ceramic washer, and I'm curious if you can reach in, hook it, and gently nudge the whole works out.
