Do the cowl lights have a ground? Cannot get my lights to work. I painted the inside of the housing an aluminum color for greater reflection and am wondering if the ground is inhibited/ Thanks, Ricardo

I think you answered your own question. The return ground circuit is through the socket, to mounting nut, to the body and finally back to the negative side of the battery. I would start by cleaning the inside of the bulb socket and try again. :o
