I'm painting the wheels of my '39 Master 85 Business coupe and the wheels will be body color which is Maroon. Should the back side of the wheels also be Maroon or should the back side be black?
Thanks in advance for your help

For my (former) 1939 the back side of the wheels was black.

That's good to know. Will add that to the list. I had actually forgotten that I will need to prep the wheels along with my body parts. ooops but thanks!

After checking my notes I find my reply as incorrect....the wheels were "painted" on both sides.

Gene
My Aus 38 truck wheels seem to have been painted from the outside only with only a little over spray on the inside, it may have been 1 of our ways of saving a few pennies.
