I am going to replace my head on the 36 GMC 1/2 ton. I have a Victor copper head gasket. Is there some type of spray that needs to put on the gasket before use? Or should I get a newer composite gasket?

If the copper gasket is not damaged, go with it. Lightly coat each side with wheel bearing grease. Follow normal instructions on torque procedures.
