What were the 60U generators with the three mounting holes made to fit?

Thanks,

Would be Chevrolet part # 1100503 which is a universal rebuilt generator for a 1929-1939. Bascially it is a 1938-1939 generator and will come with instructions for correctly setting the third brush correctly for earlier models. If a pulley with a cooling fan is used the amps can be bummped up higher for the early models. Also the instruction give a slight and simple wiring change for the earlier cars.
Do you have the instruction sheet?
