I purchased a 1937 radio controller and tuner box for my 38, but not sure where the box goes? I know the cables limit the distance but wondering where the manufacturer or dealer would place the box
Thanks
Michael

Above the steering mast jacket & foot pedals. You'll see holes already in the firewall if you look from the engine compartment. This box is a Delco but the Chevy box mounts in the same place.

I think you will find that the front plate for the controller has a smaller width for 37 than 38. Did you get matching cables?

it was a set including box, cables, controller and speaker cover at least which seems to be very rare.
