Hello fellow VCCA Members;
I would like to purchase the wood for both doors and both hinge and lock pillars for my 1932 5 window coupe. I have talked with both Jim Rodman and Bill Cartwright. They are both many months behind. I also talked with Rick from Classic Wood Products, he doesn't have the drawings for a job no. 32567 but has them for a 31567. Does anyone know if the wood I’m looking for is the same for both 32567 & 31567? Allen who works with Rick at Classic Wood Products said he would have most of these wood pieces needed to the job. Also, has any one used wood frame products from Classic Wood Products and gave it an OK for workmanship.

Thank You for your help in this matter,
Ricks32

There has been lots of discussion about body wood suppliers so
I suggest you do a search on the site.

Since you are no longer new to Chevy Chatter, and for a better response, you should post in the 1929-32 forum.

The shape of the door particularly at the top front corner is different from 1931 to 1932. I don't believe that wood for one can be easily modified for the other.

Hi Junkyard Dog, this is the second time I’ve been told about being new and that I should use a different forum. Any chance you could call me at your convenience and walk through it.
I wish I had some one local to go to and talk with about what I’m working on with my 32 Chevy. You sound like a very knowledgeable person and I sure could use some of your expertise.
My number is 701-989-0017, email is rsetterlund@bis.midco.net
Thanks,
Rick

Rick
The easy way is when you log in select "forum list" and scroll down. Not far from the top but below this forum you will see another group of headings which will list year groups, select the appropriate year. Starting new discussion is the same as you have done here.

Welcome to our site. It appears that you have a great project and can benefit from the "dudes" that frequent here.
